The special all-natural formula of Potatoes Alive! Fertilizer will give your root crops the extra phosphorus and potassium they need to help them thrive. Typical vegetable fertilizers won't do the trick since they contain much less nitrogen which can lead to bad root crop outcomes and potentially toxic glycoalkaloids in potatoes. When trialed in our research garden, plants produced 57% more potatoes by weight! Roots will grow full and large with improved stem thickness, and less water loss through leaves allowing the plants to hold up to dry spells. This fertilizer will also act as an antidote to excess nitrogen and help plants resist disease. Apply twice per growing season as a side-dressing along the base of each plant at a rate of 1 lb. per 50 sq. ft. and scratch into soil.

We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August.
