The female plant produces smooth-skinned fruit which is sweet and flavorful and can be eaten just like grapes. Leaf color is especially intense in the male plant, with a striking hot pink, cream and emerald-green pattern. Usually reaches peak color within 2-3 years of planting. Easily climbs over a fence or trellis. Male plant must be present for cross-pollination—only the female plant produces fruit. Zones 3-8. Potted plants. This item ships in both Spring & Fall.
