58 days. Slow-developing seed keeps 5- to 6-in. pods smooth and high in quality over a long season. The favored canning bean. Resists BCMV; tolerates NY15.
2-oz. packet contains about 150 seeds; sows a 25-ft. row.
Note: Plants will ship in Spring.
We used to grow many varieties of beans every year, until we tasted these. High yield, perfect for canning. Tender, stringless, sweet and crisp. Our favorite.
This bean does very well. It can get large and fat yet maintains its snap and water content well. The taste is great, not stringy at all. I even eat these picking they're that good! Excellent drought resistance too. I planted P & G and these and these just were superior by far. I'll be planting more next year for sure.
I've grown this bean for many years and LOVE it! Such a small plant and yet, it produces a lot of green beans! Grows well in FL and doesn't like a lot of water or fertilizer so it is low maintenance.
