Takes temperatures well below zero. Big crops of plump, juicy, super-sweet berries. Produces many runners. Zones 3-7.
I have finally 'settled in' to purchasing a batch of these every year, using new plants to replace old/spent ones. They surpass all other everbearing (or June bearers) and are great producers, especially if you decide to NOT let them produce runners like crazy (but pinch them off, generally, except for a few). They come back every year - including February 2015 where the AVERAGE temp was 6 degrees!
I am in FAR northwoods of the PNW. (close to Canada) I got these berry plants a few years back along with another type. I find that the term (everbearing) to not hold up. They do not seem to be a everbearing at least not for me. THEY however are proficient at making runners. SO if you do buy plant one every 4 feet and next year you will have a huge patch. I have not lost any to freezing and it has been lower than 13 BELOW..
