  • Low-Acid Tomatoes

  • I ordered Jet Star Hybrid tomato seeds to grow for my sister. She loves tomatoes but can't handle too much acid in her diet. We have never had such a prolific tomato crop! It is December 31 in Louisiana and we have the last tomatoes ripening on the window sill! And the taste is great! I definitely will plant more in 2017!

  • hornworms don't seem to like them

  • I planted a variety of tomatoes this year and the tomato hornworms are eating everything but these and the grapes. The fruits are overall gorgeous, aside from a few with malformed blossom ends. Will definitely be seeking this variety out in the future.

  • Jet Stars

  • My Opinion, Jet Stars are the best tomatoe. I have been growing them for the past 17 years, They are the perfect tomatoe for canning, everyone says they are low acid but they are no where as low acid as the yellow and brandy wine tomatoes. I do home canning with jet stars and acid very little salt and over the past 17 years have only have like 10 quarts to spoil. I plant a home garden with about 60 plants for my personal use and I have another garden that I plant 300 plants for selling to the public. I make on the average of $5,000.00 extra cash in the summer from tomatoes lol not bad for a summer hobby. Great soil is the key for great tomatoes, Jet Stars will easily grown 6 foot tall is really good soil.

  • I never was a big fan of tomatoes until I tried growing and eating Jetstar tomatoes. Now I eat a lot of them and have given many away to my friends who have raved about them.

  • Jet Star Tomatos

  • The Jet Star Tomatos we planted last year were fabulous! Not only tasty, we had some HUGE fruit, and what didn't ripen outside kept even into January for us to eat!!! A truely excellent, all-around tomato.
