  • Yield: Approximately 1 - 2 quarts. Matures late June to early July. Bearing age: bears on 2-year canes.

  • Blooms: Early Summer, Mid Summer
  • Fruit: Large, round, up to 1 inch, deep red berries.
  • Zone: 3-8
  • Form: Fruit, Small Fruit, Raspberry, Red Raspberry

  • Soil Requirements: Acidic Soil, Clay Soil, Loamy Soil, Sandy Soil
  • Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
  • Pruning: Prune Red Latham raspberry canes in early Spring and immediately after harvest. Cut canes back in Spring to about 5 feet tall and remove any weak or diseased canes. Thin new shoots as necessary to prevent over-crowding. After harvest, cut fruit-bearing canes to the ground but leave new shoots to grow until next year.
