Sets delicious crimson fruits of record size and top-notch quality. So big, just a few make a mouthwatering snack. Ripens from early June to mid July, a lengthy 3-4 week harvest. Provides an ample supply for processing into jams and jellies. Zones 4-8. No. 1,1-yr. plants.
I planted this variety in 1988 and to this day they have produced tremendous crops year after year, no matter the Maine weather. My patch is a favorite to pick from because there are no thorns.
