85 days. Widely noted as a favorite among gourmet chefs, this meaty Roma-type variety gives sauces the rich, sweet flavor that is a hallmark of traditional Italian cooking. Indeterminate.
Note: Plants will ship in Spring.
Seed sprouted plants did very well, dry tomatoe, great sun-dried or as a paste, ify-as a eat-alone tomato, good for salsa. Thick-walled, thick middle, and prolific producer all season.
With back-up reviews from friends who were provided with seedlings, these tomatoes outperformed all other varieties: Cherokee Purple, Agro, Mosvitch, Balck Krim, Green Zebra, during a summer of rain, and cooler than average temps. Yields were consistent and numerous, about 4-6 ready at one time per plant. Beautiful, ify for a slicer, but a great paste, salsa, and sun dried tomato due to its "dry" content when cut and thick walls, center, miminal seeds.
