Matures early and beats out most other berry crops. Sweet, 2 1/2-in. fruits ripen in early June and are more flavorful than blackberries. A good choice for Southern gardens. Self-pollinating; bears the second year. Zones 5-10. No. 1, 1-yr. plants.

Average bearing age is two years. Average yield is 4 - 6 quarts. Produces fruit in mid-Summer.
