Comments: For all-around taste, Fuji simply can't be beat. This fine-textured apple boasts a mild, sweet flavor that is perfect for baked desserts as well as eating fresh-picked from the tree. An excellent storage apple, it stays crisp in the refrigerator and at room temperature. Ripens in mid October. Needs 160 growing days to ripen properly. Flesh is yellow-green, sweet, fruity, slightly aromatic, subacid and very pleasant. Average size fruit, yellowish skin with orange-red blush with dark stripes, darker blush on sun side.
