Comments: A romanesco type zucchini, very popular in Italy. Used like regular zucchini, but has a unique flavor, texture and shape. Firm, crisp fruit are nutty; delicious steamed and grilled when they are small and used for stir-fry, sauteing and baking when they get longer. Ribbed fruit is attractive and can be harvested while blossom is still attached, allowing you to use the fruit and enjoy fried squash blossoms as well.
