I have two fringe trees/bushes. They are about 3-4 years old. (bought at two different times). I am babying them, they are supposed to grow fast; however... I'm impatient. But last year they seemed to grow faster, I fertilized more than previously. I love this tree; if they are all as beautiful as all the pictures I've seen. Good luck and you won't be disapoointed, but just try to have a lil patience. :>}

Here's a saying a horticulturalist friend of mine told me about new plants and might help those who get impatient: 1st year sleep, 2nd year creep, 3rd year leap! It's well worth the wait - a beautiful tree!

Is this what old timers called Grancy Graybeard tree? If it is, I'm thrilled. I dug one from the woods years ago and it was beautiful. moved and had to leave it. I have looked for 20 years for one to replant. Hope that's what this is. I'm ordering for my new home
