Minuet Mountain Laurel

Brightens up a slightly shady space
This cultivar of the native mountain species is an unexpected option for tucking into a smaller shady space. Minuet Mountain Laurel reaches just 3 ft. tall and prefers partial shade. So if you'd like something other than traditional shade plants to brighten an area short on sun, Minuet Mountain Laurel is perfect. Clusters of white-pink flowers are trimmed in red and bloom in late spring to early summer. Foliage is dark green and adds interest all year. Minuet Mountain Laurel is great as a focal plant in the flower garden, as a low hedge or an understory plant. Grows best if planted in well-drained, cool, acidic soil in partial shade. Shipping now in a gallon pot ready for summer planting. Potted. Zones 5-9.
  • Zone 5 - 9
  • Height 2 1/2 - 3 feet
  • Light Requirements Plant in light shade, with some sun, for best flowering and best flower color development.
