Sundance™ Reachables™ Apple Tree

Sundance™ Reachables™ Apple Tree

One of the best apples we've EVER tasted!

A decidedly delectable hand fruit that's also an excellent pie apple. Consistently crisp texture helps it to bake up just right—not too hard and never mushy. Snackers will delight in the crunchy, white flesh concealed beneath its porcelain to yellowish-green skin, which is often marked with a red blush. This large apple has exceptional sweet-tart flavor that is sugary with refreshing hints of pineapple and lemon. Matures in mid to late October, but remains on the tree up to a month without loss of quality. Sundance apples can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four months, allowing them to be enjoyed into winter! Excellent resistance to scab and cedar apple rust. Zones 5-8. PP13819.

Now available as a Reachable™! Sundance™ Reachables™ Apple Tree produces full-sized fruit on a compact tree. This means it's easier to grow your own fruit even if you have limited space. You can plant Reachables in your garden, orchard or even a container. They are easier to manage than full-sized trees. Now one person can prune, spray, net and harvest the tree—without using a ladder! Please note: Because Reachables produce full-sized fruit on smaller trees, they require a tree support.

Takes less than 2 years to yield fruit! Reachables™ from Henry Field's® will yield small crops in less than two years and larger crops in subsequent years.

Now Easier to Plant! Reachables™ trees from Henry Field's® ship fully leafed-out with a bamboo stake to provide temporary support. The bamboo stake will need to be replaced with a sturdy tree support. Reachables trees are potted and shipped in Ellepots. Ellepots are made of biodegradable paper and can be placed directly in the ground.

NOTE: We are unable to ship our trees to PO Boxes at this time.
