Grows 10-12 ft. tall; makes an attractive privacy screen. Many people believe that the plants also repel moles. Castor bean seeds are poisonous. Developing seedpods can be removed and discarded if this is a concern. Direct sow after last frost or start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Perennial in zones 8-10; annual elsewhere.
